~ Writing a message: To write a message or reply to a message in a topic, simply click the category, click the topic and click 'Post Reply'. Once done, type in the box what you wanna say. There are many Emoticons/Smilies; to use them go to the box to the left. There are 4 categories (May be subject to change), Smilies - your regular emotes, Words - stuff like 'lol' or 'welcome', Animal Things - Animated Creatures, and Other Emotes - miscellaneous animations and smilies. Once done typing, you can click 'preview' near the bottom to see what your message will look like, or 'send' to post your message.
~ Posting a new topic: Thought of a topic that our users haven't made yet? Awesome. Click your category of choice, then click 'New Topic'. From there it is almost the same as writing a message. But instead, you have the option to put a poll/survey (Coming up next) and putting a title. Your title is what your topic will be called. To the right of the title box, you see a drop down menu with a bunch of colors; there you can select which color you want your title to be! Again, you can preview and/or send your post.
~ Making a Poll/Survey: When making a topic, you see the option 'Open Poll Form'. This is how you make a poll/survey. To start, click 'Open Poll Form'. Then type the name of your poll/survey in the top box of the 'Add a Poll' section. In the bigger box below, type your options or your choices. When it says 'seperate them by a line break' it means like this:
Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
etc, Now there is one more box left, thats how long your poll will last. Type the number of days you want your poll open for, or type a 0 or leave it blank for a never ending poll. Selecting 'yes' on multiple choice means users can vote on more then one choice. Clicking 'yes' on Vote cancelling is allowed means users can cancel their vote after they submit it, and possibly change it.
~ Uploading files to your post. Wanna share a pic or even a video? Above your type box there are a bunch of buttons, these buttons are divided into category by a thin white line. The 5th section from the left allows you to upload things to your post. Clicking "Video", "Flash", and "Host Image" brings you to a pop-up window where you browse your computer for the desired file. "Insert Image" and "Insert URL" bring you a pop-up window where you type or copy-and-paste the desired link.
